Village Life

The soul of a village lies in the activities that take place in that village. This website has other pages devoted the Club & Societies and to the Businesses in the village, but other essential elements of life in Earl Soham are:

The school

The churches

The village hall

The surgery

The Parish Council

Village charities

Services

Special Events

(May 2003) Charity Golf Day

(June 2003) Queen's Golden Jubilee Celebrations

On the 21st September, 2002 the Rev. Roy Tricker gave his second very entertaining talk in St. Mary's about the history of the church - although this talk concentrated more on "The Church" than on St. Mary's. Some details from his talk will appear on this Website shortly. The talk was followed by a delicious homemade soup lunch in the Village Hall, helping with the fund-raising for the Friends of St. Mary's.

Still to come: Information on regular special events in the village, such as the Fête and Harvest Supper, and information about (bus) transport to/from Earl Soham.
